Scholarship Program 

Aramco Gulf Operation Company (AGOC) has developed a number of educational programs designed to attract promising Saudi males, graduating from High School within the local community, to provide them with an opportunity to develop their intellectual and academic talents through a creative, professional scholarship program. 

College Degree Program for Non Employees (CDPNE)  

One of AGOC’s educational programs is the ‘College Degree Program for Non Employees’  (CDPNE) educational scholarship. This developmental program is a key element of the Company’s community outreach program.

The CDPNE Program intake commences at the end of the High Schools’ academic year with the selection of local high school graduates, who have performed with distinction. The students are provided with an opportunity to pursue their bachelor degrees at prestigious universities and institutions located in Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

 

Recently the 9th Batch of students under CDPNE Scholarship Program left for higher studies for UK after qualified students were shortlisted, based upon predetermined eligibility criteria. AGOC held a pre-departure gathering to welcome the new students to the program, together with their fathers and prominent in attendance were Stephen Wise-Manager Human Resources, Bader Mutairi- Public & Govt. Relatiosn Co-Ordinator addressed the gathering and highlighted significant aspects of the program, which forms the basis for their future career development and wishing them every success.

AGOC provided the students with Administrative Ground Rules along with UK Scholarship Handbook, all of which provides the students with an understanding of the UK culture, Immigration Policy and other safety measures.

AGOC selects the undergraduate majors for the study program, based upon the Company’s business needs. The range of specialties primarily falls under Engineering and Science fields, as follows:
